Yo creo que Sony se vio forzado a "poner en mantenimiento" la PSN porque le estaban robando.

Otro punto... Sony Center o Sony Style y otras tiendas están lanzando los títulos en sus fechas oficiales, estos títulos son los mismos que se lanzan en USA y Canada...

Es fuerte pues los latinos suelen comprar en la store de USA y no en las otras pues acá no hay store y por la facilidad de conseguirlas. En otros países hay store, como en Europa y en Asia, así que no se tienen que preocupar tanto si desean comprar contenido a menos que quieran uno exclusivo de otra store.

During a press conference tonight in Tokyo, Sony detailed what it will reward PlayStation Network users when the service is turned back on next week after being shut down due to an illegal intrusion.

Sony announced its "Welcome Back" program worldwide, giving all existing PlayStation Network users 30 days of PlayStation Plus for free. Current PlayStation Plus members will receive 30 days of additional service at no cost. Sony will also provide "selected PlayStation entertainment content" for free to download. Details for each region will be announced at a later date. Additionally, Music Unlimited subscribers (in countries where the service is available) will receive 30 days free service.

"This criminal act against our network had a significant impact not only on our consumers, but our entire industry," said Kazuo Hirai, Executive Deputy President, Sony Corporation. "These illegal attacks obviously highlight the widespread problem with cyber-security. We take the security of our consumers' information very seriously and are committed to helping our consumers protect their personal data. In addition, the organization has worked around the clock to bring these services back online, and are doing so only after we had verified increased levels of security across our networks.

Sony's Kazuo Hirai addresses the media in Tokyo.
"Our global audience of PlayStation Network and Qriocity consumers was disrupted. We have learned lessons along the way about the valued relationship with our consumers, and to that end, we will be launching a customer appreciation program for registered consumers as a way of expressing our gratitude for their loyalty during this network downtime, as we work even harder to restore and regain their trust in us and our services."

Sony also said it is working with the FBI criminal investigation to track down who hacked the network. The company reaffirmed it does not believe credit card information was taken, but says customers should keep an eye on their bank statements as a precaution. Of the 77 million registered PSN accounts, roughly 10 million have active credit cards tied to them.

When the Network goes live next week, users must download a new system firmware update and will force users to create a new login password. Sony will also do a phased rollout by region for PSN services. Next week's initial rollout includes:

- Restoration of Online game-play across the PlayStation 3 and PSP systems. This includes titles requiring online verification and downloaded games

- Access to Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3/PSP for existing subscribers. Sony will have a phased rollout by region for PlayStation Network next week. The services that will be available include:

- Access to account management and password reset

- Access to download un-expired Movie Rentals on PS3, PSP and MediaGo

- PlayStation Home

- Friends List

- Chat Functionality

One of the major services that won't be available initially is the PlayStation Store. Sony did not give a timeframe for when it wil be back up, but the company stated that all PlayStation Network services will operational by the end of May.

No solo se van a limitar a dar PlayStation Plus por un mes, en el comunicado también dice que a cada región le darán contenido adicional gratis (algún juego?/avatar?/película?) que supongo no tendrá fecha de vencimiento, recuerden que los juegos que descargan "gratis" con una cuenta Plus expiran una vez termina tu membresia y solo los puedes volver a jugar si renuevas.

En el comunicado también dice que el servicio de la PlayStation®Store aun no estará disponible por lo que aun no se podrán comprar ni descargar nada, ni juegos, ni demos, ni nada. Esperemos a que den una fecha de cuando estará habilitada la tienda.

Otra cosa que llamo mi atención es que dice que el contenido gratis dependerá de cada región, esto quiere decir por ejemplo que el juego o lo que fuere que van a dar gratis en USA sera distinto a lo que den en Europa o en Japón, en mi caso cuento con una cuenta europea(para bajar demos), una japonesa(para bajar demos), mi cuenta principal que es americana y otra cuenta que es PLUS, esto quiere decir que voy a tener juegos por partida triple?.

Los premium avatars y los themes dinamicos del PS+ si son permanentes, por lo que supongo que eso será lo único que baje.

Era de esperarse la extensión de las suscripciones para los que tienen PS+ y Qriocity, aunque no esperaba que fueran a dar juegos y 30 días de PS+ para todos. Interesante movida, ya que quienes no quieran perder sus juegos de PS+ no tendrán otra que afiliarse al servicio.

Recién este miércoles se van a cumplir 2 semanas desde que empezó todo el problema. Dentro de este tiempo, los miembros de Plus solo se han perdido un update (de esos que salen uno cada dos semanas). Para cuando regrese la tienda, probablemente se habrán perdido otro. En un mes (que es el que están regalando) se recuperan esos dos updates. El acceso a la PSN no tiene nada que ver con Plus y el contenido que viene con Plus es accesible aun cuando no hay conexión con la PSN (a menos que no lo hayan bajado de la tienda antes de que empezara el "mantenimiento").

a lo q me referia con lo del plus no era el tema de las descargas sino al tiempo de la menbresia por ejemplo, si mi menbresia se vencia el 30 de abril y si en el caso q los servicios de psn se restablezcan el 17 eso quiere decir q del 20 al 30 son 10 dias menos de subscripcion lo logino y lo minimo q podian hacer era corre la menbresia obvio por eso diga q no es gran cosa tampoco q ten den 1 mes mas de plus por los 17 dias sin servicio, para los q no tienen plus es perfecto y ademas seria un gancho para sony ya q mucha gente no conoce los beneficios del plus y podrian captar nuevos clientes, pero para los q ya somos miembros del plus no es la gran cosa tampoco, eso es lo q yo opino.

Si están el 9 y 10 pero no estoy seguro si están con descuento para el PLUS. pero puedes chekear en el blog de playstation en la partes de updates ahí salen las actualizaciones y descuento para el plus, dale una búsqueda.

Jajaja no, a lo q me refiero es q si me plus se vencía el 20 de abril y suponiendo q hayan restablecido el psn el 30 cuando quiera usar el plus ya no voy a podría xq ya estaría vencido, ósea debería tener 10 días de gracia x la desconexión del servidor, entonces como los de Sony dicen q nos van a dar 30 días mas de plus me parece q es lo mínimo q pueden hacer y así correr la fecha de vencimiento de la menbresia.

Segun tengo entendido se les dara 1 mes gratis de PS Plus a todos los usuarios pero creo que deberia ser algo mas para los que ya son usuarios de PS Plus pero bueno con tal que reestablezcan el servicio en la fecha que lo dicen esta bien :P

Todo mi contenido plus ya expiro, hoy quise jugar un juego q baje com plus y me sale expirado, pensé q xq no había PSN no iba a expirar pero hoy me di con la sorpresa q si expiraba. A esperar q repongan el servio.

digamos que el contenido plus tiene un cronometro interno, ni cambiando la fecha ni desconectandote de internet podras evitar que siga avanzando...

y seguimos sin PSN... aunque la descarga de contenidos ya funciona, osea si ya tenias la descarga iniciada... tenia un par de cosas descargando y normal hoy terminaron de descargar... sin embargo, las descargas de peliculas no funciona, aun no se ha reanudado...

lo se lo se... "no se puede entrar ni descargar de la store de peliculas desde Perú"... hay un metodo para hacerlo. No es muy sencillo, pero funciona... ando en miras de hacer un videotuto del mismo, asi que esperen un poquitin ^^
