GTX 790 y GTX TITAN BE - Rumor

Al parecer lo rumores se estan haciendo cada vez realidad. Nvidia tiene planeado lazar la GTX 790 y la GTX TITAN BE para febrero o marzo del presente, lo que si no se ha confirmado es la bajada de precio de la GTX 780Ti o de la GTX 780 y 770. Ovbiamente en respuesta a la serie R9 de AMD.

The New Year is here, but where are my New GPUs from NVIDIA? Well, it looks like they - yes, they, plural - could be very close. VideoCardz.com is reporting that we should expect two new high-end GPUs from NVIDIA: the GeForce GTX TITAN Black Edition, and the dual-GPU GeForce GTX 790.

Starting with the GeForce GTX TITAN Black Edition, which should be the same GPU found on the GTX 780 Ti, but it would feature higher double precision computing, in other words: more CUDA cores. We should see this GPU arrive with 6GB of VRAM on board, twice as much as the GTX 780 Ti features, something that is quite important to NVIDIA these days with 4K here.

We should expect the GTX TITAN Black Edition to feature 2880 CUDA cores, 240 TMUs, and 48 ROPS. The price on the GPU will be around $999, and we should hear more information on it shortly.

The second GPU, is the GeForce GTX 790. The GTX 790 will see two GK110 cores slapped onto the same PCB, but they won't be full GK110 cores unfortunately. We should see two 2496 CUDA cores, for a total of 4992 CUDA cores on the GTX 790. One interesting thing to note on the leaked, or estimated specifications on the GTX 790 is that it will not use the 384-bit bus that the 780 Ti and GTX TITAN Black Edition will reportedly use, instead, it will be knocked down to 320-bit.

This will mean we'll see 10GB of total VRAM on the GTX 790, two lots of 5GB. NVIDIA is aiming at 300W on the GTX 790, so it'll be interesting to see the performance on it with 2 x 150W TDP GPUs for a total of 300W. We should expect NVIDIA to launch this new GPU sometime in March.

Creo que la promoción de los juegos ya termino hasta el 31 de diciembre del 2013. Pregunta antes de comprar, no vallas a tener una mala pasada. Lo que si he visto sobre una nueva promoción es un descuento de 100 usd en nvidia shield y de regalo ACBF.

OK, mejor porque no te vas por la GTX 760 a 250 USD tiene hasta un 35% mas de rendimiento que la 660 OC a 230 USD. Aparte la GTX 760 es de 256 bit, tambien cuenta con la misma promocion.

Todo indica que Paul Tan (conocido modder) esta trabajando o mejor dicho, ya termino una GTX 790 que ha vuelto una obra de arte, no hay fotos en gran resolución, solo lo que él mismo publicó en su Facebook personal y luego en su Pagina de Facebook.

Luxury, luxury and more luxury. Entonces ya no es un rumor. Le pongo como minimo unos 1200 USD, a menos que nvidia sorprenda con algun tipo de promocion o rebaja en sus productos. Ya me imagino un quad SLI y 20 gigs de Vram, sorprendente y mas aun los procesos de evaluacion de estas tarjetas. A ver que nos muestra AMD, puesto que se viene la guerra de precios.
A los que se estan animando a comprar futuras GPU's, es momento de esperar hasta abril.

Bueno me referia hasta abril, puesto que nvidia en teoria lanzaria su nueva generación para marzo y quizas se pondria en venta en abril. Y no solamente lanzaria su nueva generacion si o si debe de venir con alguna oferta de cajon. Tambien habra que esperar el anuncio oficial.

La GTX 770 en SLI supera a una GTX 780 hasta con un rendimiento del 70% adicional. Es excelente, en mi caso BF4 en modo ultra va de maravilla, ACBF igualmente. Muy recomendable.

Nvidia sigue dando sorpresas, hoy se ha filtrado informacion respecto a su nueva arquitectura MAXWELL de 20 nanometros, la que reemplazara a la actual KEPLER, ovbiamente el objetivo es el ahorro de energia para su nueva generacion de tarjetas de video, supuestamente la serie 800 y la serie GTX 750 y GTX 750Ti. Indican tambien la posibilidad de hacer trabajar la GTX 750 sin ningun conetor de alimentacion a la tarjeta. Eso seria importante porque no tendriamos mucho problema en pensar que fuente le pongo a mi PC. Aun no hay nada respecto a la GTX 790 y la GTX Titan.

We have been expecting to see NVIDIA's successor to its Kepler GPU for some time now, and this morning images were leaked on VideoCards.com that are said to be the first Maxwell architecture GPUs off the line. Although a but blurry, the GPU's are clearly visible, but something unexpected lies below the surface.


The GM107-400 and GM107-300 pictured above both feature the same CUDA cores found in the GK106 chip but utilize the memory bus of the GK107 which shrinks the die by about 30-percent. This also allows the cards to consume significantly less power, so much so that the GeForce GTX 750 cards featuring the GM107-300 will not require any power connector on the board.

The GM107-300 is built on a 28nm process with a die size of 156mm square. It features 768 CUDA cores with a 128-bit memory bus. The GM107-400 is also built on a 28nm process and has a die size of 156mm square, but differs with 960 CUDA cores. Both chips feature a TDP of about 75 watts with the GM107-300 variant being a little cooler. The GM107-300 is slated to be featured in the GeForce GTX 750 while the GM107-400 will find its way into the Ti variant of the same card.

For months now, we all have been expecting Maxwell to arrive on a 20nm process, but the first Maxwell chips are actually built on a 28nm process. Why 20nm was not utilized is anyone's guess, but some say that TSMC was just not ready to manufacture it. For now the new Maxwell chips are destined for the NVIDIA 700 series cards with the 800-series being saved for the 20nm chips when they arrive.

La gama alta si o si llevarán conector de alimentacion, pero reducirán el consumo o los pines de alimentación. Ejemplo si lanzan la gtx 880, imaginate con un solo conector de 6 pin. Eso seria excelente. Y según la serie 850 no llevaría nada, igual los rumores sobre la gtx 750.
